 In November 2011, Bretagne(s) World Sounds organizes in partnership with Drom and Le Quartz, scène nationale de Brest, the first edition of NoBorder, a festival dedicated to new contemporary forms of traditional music. A new major event which will focus on popular music through aconference on "Modality, a bridge between East and West" organized by Drom under the direction of Erik Marchand, a professional meeting dedicated to "production and diffusion of world music" and a concert program of 25 performances...

Bretagne(s) World Sounds is a group of six world music producers from Brittany Region (France). The group focuses on weaving and fostering new connections between the traditional music aesthetics of Brittany and the rest of the world. They are all members of Zone Franche, committed to its ethical World Music charter.

BWS actions are based on three main lines :
1. Export, support artistic projects internationally
2. Networking. Building collaborations, exchanges, decentralized cooperation
3. Promoting new traditional music from Brittany and world music by organizing events and professional meetings.
